Yeah... but I like the Intimidate set better, It goes well with this team, lowering attack does.

Staraptor doesn't have the best Defence anyway, though, so I don't see the point in only making it decent with Intimidate.

Mono-type teams really shouldn't try to be defensive, though - it's pretty obvious why, too. You'd want more offensively-based Pokémon than defensive, seeing as, the majority of the time, they share a weakness.

But it doesn't exactly resist it either.

If you're allowed a wild card on your team, then a Ghost-type or any combination of things that resist Fighting-type moves are good choices. When I used to have a Normal-type Gym team, I had a Crobat because of its resistance, and it worked very well. I wish I'd tried out a Sigilyph, though.

Yeah, I've always liked Crobat. I even purposely caught a Zubat early on in Gold just so I could have Crobat against the E4. But my strategy is more suited towards Bulky pokemon, so my Wildcards are gonna be Reuniclus and Cofagrigus. By the by, my team is finally completed, so I'm looking to test it out. Anyone willing to help me test it can battle me by using this FC: Leon 1550-0038-0576.

I'd gladly battle you, but I actually have no Wifi team at the moment, and the item clause on Wifi really annoys me, seeing as I have Leftovers on most things. I guess I could knock up a quick team tonight and see how it does.
